It's MOVIE NIGHT at the basement again! This time we're screening the documentary of the iconic Dipsea Race and it's 100+ year race rich history garnered throughout the years in Northern California.
Calling all runners trail and road alike of all distances including those crazy enough to be racing The North Face Endurance Challenge Dec. 1st & 2nd to come and enjoy this documentary telling the historical tale of the local favorite and infamous race, the Dipsea. For years runners have challenged themselves on this intense and unrelenting trail often to experience blood, sweat and tears along the way.
Don't miss the premiere showing of Sam Lueck's dynamic new documentary chronicling the history and drama that is America's oldest trail race! Featuring footage that puts you right in the race, elbow to elbow, with it's swiftest competitors this is your chance to run with the fastest and to hear from young and old alike as they explain their passion.
We'll have special guests Nikki Kimball sponsored by The North Face and Anna Frost sponsored by Salomon in attendance along with our friends from the Tamalpa Runners club to share their own battles on the trails and how they overcome them and where they find their motivation to take on such torturous runs.
