The Dolores Street Project aims to build the first ever LGBT Homeless Shelter in San Francisco, but are in need of $100,000 to complete construction.
Of the 5,000 homeless youth on our city’s streets, 40% identify as LGBT. Unfortunately, over 70% of transgender residents and over half of LGBT-identifying individuals report having experienced physical and verbal violence at the city’s shelters because of their identity. With your support, we can raise and donate the remaining funds through this Gala and address this important community need.
Lets join together and make a lasting impact in the lives of hundreds of LGBT and transgender individuals who experience homelessness in San Francisco everyday.
One party can make a difference. We’ll see you there!
