Our Cook the Book classes celebrate some of the best restaurants through their cookbooks. You’ll prep and cook a menu from the book as a group and then sit down together for an incredible meal.
When you say “Greek food” in San Francisco, Kokkari immediately comes to mind. Join us as we prepare a menu full of the restaurant’s signature dishes, exploring what it takes to make some classic Greek food. You’ll learn about the Greek pantry, and it’s Bay Area influences at Kokkari, by cooking with ingredients such as phyllo, feta, salmon, yogurt, and eggplant and even homemade pita. We’ll teach you about prep and plating, breaking each one down into approachable steps so you can continue to create Kokkari’s fabulous food in your own home kitchen.
Menu: Homemade Pita Bread with Roasted Eggplant Spread, Spicy Feta & Pepper Spread, and Cucumber Yogurt Spread, Kokkari Greek Salad, Egg-Lemon Soup with Chicken and Rice, Evvia’s Salmon with Tomato and Ouzo, Kokkari Potatoes, Roasted Asparagus with Feta and Dill, Kokkari Walnut and Almond Phyllo Pastry.
