Indian and Vegetarian are a natural combination; many Indians enjoy strict vegetarian diets without sacrificing any of the traditional flavors we expect from this cuisine. In this class you and your classmates will prepare an authentic and bold menu of Indian favorites, even making the homemade fresh Indian cheese, Paneer. You will also learn much of the rich history of this cuisine as you create classic and simple dishes you can integrate often into your own home cooking.
Menu: Paneer Tikka (with Homemade Paneer), Mixed Vegetable Curry, Green Beans with Coconut, Yellow Lentils, Cilantro Garlic Chutney, Pineapple Raita, Vegetable Pulao, and Poori.
