NGHTMRE’s rise to the top has been a dream to say the least. Some say he arrived the day Skrillex played his single “Street” on the main stage at Ultra Music Festival in 2015 – dance music’s premiere event. The record would go on to be one of the biggest trap song that summer, and lead Tyler Marenyi to become the darling of Diplo’s Mad Decent imprint, an international festival superstar, and a resident DJ at Las Vegas’ famed Hakkasan.
His 2016 collaborations with Zeds Dead, Dillon Francis, and Flux Pavilion helped catapult him all across the world, playing Tomorrowland in Belgium, Storm Festival in Shanghai, Looptopia in Taiwan, and World DJ Fest in Seoul. Tyler also embarked on the 34-city “Gud Vibrations” bus tour with best friends Derek and Scott of Slander that winter, selling out venues such as the Skyway Theatre in Minneapolis, the Rex Theater in Pittsburgh, Rams Head Live in Baltimore, and The Ogden Theatre in Denver.
NGHTMRE’s name continues to make waves in 2017, starting with a headline tour through Australia and New Zealand. As summer approaches, he can be found at both stateside and international installations of Lollapalooza and EDC, as well as C3 and Insomniac’s brand new Middlelands festival. Finally, Tyler plans to release a new EP with Mad Decent, a project that aims to take a turn from his usual bangers and explore different sonic territory. If you want to support someone who is at the forefront of creativity in electronic music, NGHTMRE is the name you want to follow.

Six-time Grammy nominated singer, songwriter and producer Kaskade’s New Year’s Eve show sold out in a flash, but if you missed out, no worries, a second date has been added! Now you can celebrate New Year’s Eve twice! Kaskade says, “New Year’s Eve is always one of the most difficult times of the year for me to commit to. With the offers that come in I’m torn by which venue is best, what audience I want to share the night with and how to make the most epic goodbye to the year we’re leaving and hello to the one that’s cresting,” said Kaskade. “Instead of leaving it to someone else to build this for me, I’ve decided I’m going to handle it from here on. Last year at Bill Graham in SF was so special I knew that I needed to do it again. But now that I’ve got one under my belt, it has to be even better this year. It’s not even Halloween yet – and all I can think about is this party I’m going to throw with my West Coast Massive friends.”

The name itself presents a terrifying image- a mangled, forced extraction, quite literally “removal by cutting”. It should come as no surprise that the sounds behind this name are just as filthy, brutal, and unforgiving as the namesake suggests.

Excision shows are like no other- a virtual apocalypse of twisting and morphing sounds turn massive crowds into a frenzy, as virtual walls of bass are relentlessly impaled time and time again upon their fragile bodies and ears. Your ears will ring and your eyes will roll into the back of your head as you are suspended in what can only be called a true sensory overload. Bass will rain down from above for hours as Excision’s skills as a DJ and producer shine like an unholy light from the underworld.

The true champion of bass music, Excision hails from Kelowna, British Columbia. The founder of the ROTTUN label, a bass music conglomerate that has shaped the sound of modern Bass music, Excision has created a vast roster of allies that has only bolstered his spot as a warrior of bass music. Armed with a library of destruction and filth, Excision has time and time again tested the limits of electronic music with vastly different sets that encompass a full range of genres. The things you see and hear during the precious time you are engaged by Excision’s sounds will eclipse your mind for a lifetime, as you are constantly enlightened by the true fervor and energy that only an Excision set can provide.
