We’ve got some grate news for cheese lovers in NYC: The Great Northeast Cheese and Dairy Fest is back in Queens for a second year, and it’s not to be swiss-ed.
Puns aside (and trust us, we can dish ’em), the event will be going down Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Flushing Town Hall in Queens from 6 PM to 9 PM. You can expect to taste 75 varieties of artisanal cheeses, from “nutty sheep’s milk tommes and sharp Cheddars to luscious triple cremes and tangy goat cheeses.” To wash down your dairy-based deliciousness, tickets come with wine and other spirits to pair.
On top of that, there will be mongers and makers doing demonstrations and workshops so that you can learn everything you wanted to ever know about your favorite creamy treat. That, and you could even learn how to make a legitimate cheese plate and impress your friends.
Tickets are $60, and include unlimited cheese sampling and beverage pairings plus tastings from the chefs. If you’re goat to go after reading that description (we’re with you), don’t be blue
cheese—simply grab your tickets here.
