1. The Meadows 

Sept. 15-17 at Citi Field

2. Unicorn Carnival 

Sept. 17 at Coney Art Walls

This sparkly, girl-power carnival is put together by Winky Lux for the second year in a row. It celebrates the end of New York Fashion Week and stars an all girl line-up of musicians including Justine Skye, Alli Simpson, and Lucki Starr. A portion of the ticket sales and money raised will benefit Social Tees Animal Rescue. Tickets are $25. Get them here.

3. Oktoberfest

Sept. 15-17 at Pier 15

This weekend marks the first of three weekends of Oktoberfest at Pier 15, which represents Munich’s legendary, annual Volksfest.  The event is free. Reserve your tickets here.

4. Chihuly Art Show

Until Oct. 29 at New York Botanical Garden

The amazing sculptures of Dale Chihuly are on display at the New York Botanical Garden until October 29th. You won’t want to miss these visually compelling pieces. Tickets are $25-$28. Purchase them here.

5. Brooklyn Book Festival

Sept. 11-17 at Brooklyn Borough Hall & Plaza
